“She is a dangerous athlete. She moves very well. She has excellent boxing and kickboxing skills. I know she's a smart athlete. She is strong. I also know that she has been working on fighting on the ground. She has become a good fighter in all aspects. But I’m preparing for it,” said Amanda.

The Brazilian was asked if the North American was the right opponent for another title defense, as the North American was not going through a good phase within Ultimate. In her last six engagements, the American managed to triumph on only two occasions.

“Holly fought the biggest names in the category. She has already faced Cris (Cyborg), beaten Ronda. But, if you look at the category, there was no one to fight her. Holly is a former boxing champion and former UFC champion. Besides, we both won the Ronda Rousey. So, there’s a whole story”, commented the ‘Lioness’.

As a strategy, Amanda stated that she analyzed Holm's entire game and that she will fight her opponent based on any mistake her opponent may make in this Saturday's fight. The Brazilian, however, did not confirm the way in which her team set the goal for victory, but Nunes said that she is prepared for all possible endings.

“You have to be prepared. To fight someone like Holly, you have to be prepared in everything. You have to be prepared at all times and take advantage of any mistakes at that moment. That's what I'm going to do. I can put it down, do a knockout and, when I get close, within range of action, I certainly won't waste it” said Amanda.

Amanda currently holds two UFC belts. One, at bantamweight, which will be defended this Saturday, and the other at featherweight, won in December last year, when she shocked the world by knocking out her compatriot Chris Cyborg.
