The UFC delegation arrives, this Saturday (29), in the city of Minneapolis, in the United States and brings MMA fans electrifying duels. Although the event takes place on American territory, a true squad of Brazilians will put their talent on the line for the public. In total, six Brazilian athletes will enter the Octagon this weekend.

In the main fight of the night, junior gypsy will engage in an extremely dangerous fight against the ferocious Francis Ngannou. The two fighters are known for their high knockout power and, as a result, generate great expectations for a clash that has many chances of ending without the judges' decision.
In addition to Santa Catarina, Brazil will be represented by Jussier formiga, which acts on flies, Demian Maia, at welterweight; Ricardo Carcacinha, by the roosters; Vinícius Mamute playing in the light heavyweight division; Amanda ribas, with the straws and Júnior Albini in the heavyweights.
Cigano x Ngannou
Coming from a great phase within Ultimate, junior gypsy Once again he is close to being able to challenge for the heavyweight belt. The Brazilian has been in this situation three times and, in one of them, in 2011, he managed to surprise the world by defeating Cain Velazquez, and become the category champion. Júnior lost the title to Velasquez himself in 2012.
To be able to face the winner between Daniel Cormier, current champion, and Stipe Miocic, who face each other on August 17th, at UFC 241, Júnior will face an opponent known for the aggressiveness with which he eliminates his opponents. Since joining Ultimate, the French-Cameroonian has won eight victories and only failed to knock out once. Cigano, then, must remain alert at all times, given that the athlete himself has already declared that the fight should not last long.
The Santa Catarina native is currently in third place in the rankings of his division, while Francis is in second place, behind only Miocic and the champion, Cormier.
Ant and the search for the title
Jussier formiga is another Brazilian who is close to a title shot, if he wins in his next match. Although the fighter himself has minimized the fact, the athlete will fight a rematch against Joseph Benavidez, against whom he fought in 2013 and was defeated at the event in Belo Horizonte.
At the time, Benavidez was already one of the top names in the featherweight division. Today, however, Jussier is first in the rankings, behind only the champion, Henry Cejudo. A victory over Joseph, who is in second place, puts the athlete in excellent conditions to face the Olympic champion.

In addition to Cigano and Formiga, Brazilians will be able to be encouraged by the presence of five more representatives from the country. The experienced Demian Maia will fight against Anthony Rocco Martin in the fourth fight of the main card.
In the preliminary, Ricardo Carcacinha faces JourneyNewson by the roosters, while Vinícius Mamute exchanges forces with Erik Anders. At straw weight Amanda ribas will also perform. The Brazilian will fight against emily whitmire. Finally, heavyweight Júnior Albini will fight against Maurice Greene.
