“We have already identified him and excluded him from our team. This person tried to send (the video) to many people. It's a serious situation. He felt like he was being cut. He was a member of the team and betrayed not only my trust, but also that of all the other fighters”, said Paulo.

Borrachinha also commented that, in no way, would he forgive the coach's action. For him, an attitude of this magnitude could be repeated at other times and against other professionals.

“I don't know if a trainer can have the trust of a fighter or a gym owner. Because, if he did this to one athlete, he will do it to another. This guy needs to be banned from the sport,” said the middleweight.

Despite the obvious hurt towards the former coach, Paulo did not want to reveal the name of the accused. The fighter, however, stated that he believes he knows what motivated the coach to take such action. For Borrachinha, he wanted money, thinking that the athlete was doing well financially due to his great time in MMA.

“He tried to use that moment to hurt me and extort me with that video. He said, 'If you don't give me this (undisclosed) amount...'. That certainly broke my confidence and, obviously, I didn't try to negotiate, because I knew what I was doing”, concluded the fighter.
