Bellator 66: Maiquel Falcão and Thiago Michael seek places in the final this Friday

Bellator 66 takes place this Friday (20), in the city of Cleveland, in the United States. The fight program features two Brazilians in action, seeking places in the finals of the event's current GP season. For the middleweight tournament, Maiquel Falcao stares at Vyacheslav Vasilevsky. In the lightweight GP, Thiago Michel will face Brent Weedman. The main fight of the night will be the rematch between Eddie Alvarez and Shinya Aoki.

After debuting in the middleweight GP with a victory over Frenchman Norman Paraisy, Maiquel Falcao will face the Russian Vyacheslav Vasilevsky, who passed Victor O'Donnell. The winner of this confrontation will make the final Brian Rogers or Andreas Spang, who will make the other semi-final.

As for the lightweight tournament, which started with four Brazilians in contention, only Thiago Michel counts in the semi-final. The athlete from Minas Gerais, who beat compatriot René Nazaré in the quarterfinals, faces North American Brent Weedman, who is coming off a triumph over JJ Ambrose. In the other semifinal, Lloyd Woodard and Rick Hawn compete for a place in the decision.
