“The feeling of winning again is very good. I hadn't won for a while, so in this fight I could see that my work and that of my team are paying off. I liked my performance, but I expected to receive less blows than I did (laughs). It took me a while to catch the timing of his blows. But, in the open exchange, I managed to land a good blow, I saw that I had an opportunity and ended the fight. Even though it didn’t turn out the way I wanted, overall it was a good performance,” said Frankenstein.

Right after the fight, the Brazilian took the microphone and challenged the light heavyweight champion, the Czech Karlos Vemola. Frankenstein believes it will be a great opportunity not only for the belt, but for visibility. Vemola, who has also fought in the UFC, has an extensive record with 26 wins and just five losses, and has ten consecutive victories in MMA.

“I had already heard the comment that if I won the fight, it would be interesting to have a fight between me and the champion. And that's what I really wanted. So, right after the fight, I challenged him. I'm looking forward to facing him. I believe it will be a great fight, as they are two different styles. As Vemola is very well known, I think it will be a great opportunity for me if this fight really happens”, concluded the tough guy.
