Cerrone is known for engaging in exciting duels in his clashes. The fact of facing an opponent who does not shy away from the duel, and who always moves forward excites the North American, who is eager for the moment of battle to arrive.

"It's fun. I love it. I don't know what else I can say. People know that when the 'Cowboy' is fighting, they can expect a lot. You can find a bar, buy a pay-per-view and watch, because it will be great”, said Donald.

Donald, however, will face a fighter who is undefeated in 11 fights. Tony, who was already interim champion of the division, is known for his determination and great physical strength, which could prove to be a problem for the 'Cowboy'. However, Cerrone showed in his last three fights that he managed to improve his game and put himself in a position to be among the top five in the category. For the athlete, maturity in the sport made him reach his current moment.

“There is no secret weapon. I've just matured over the years as a fighter. Now is the time. Years ago, I didn't care about the title. I just wanted to fight every weekend. Now is the time. Is what I want. I'm going to get (the belt), I'm going to keep it and then I'm going to retire at the top”, concluded 'Cowboy'.

At 36 years old, Donald accepted the fight against Ferguson with just over a month left to prepare. The athlete faced To the fifth at UFC Ottawa, on May 4th and achieved a great victory, with an impeccable performance. In his professional record, the fighter has 46 fights, with 34 victories, 11 defeats and one unsuccessful duel.

Tony, on the other hand, at 35, hasn't stepped into the Octagon since October of last year. The athlete went through personal problems at the beginning of this year and stayed away from MMA. With 27 fights in his career, 'El Cucuy' won 24 and suffered three setbacks. North Americans haven’t known what it’s like to lose since 2012.
