John Lineker replaces injured Cody Stamann and faces Rob Font at UFC Greenville

Brazilian John Lineker had his request granted. The Paraná native, who complained about the lack of fights in Ultimate and even asked to be released from his contract, has a new commitment in the Octagon. He will replace the injured cody stmann and faces the North American Rob font. The clash will be on the UFC Greenville card, on June 22, in South Carolina (USA).

The announcement of the duel was made by the UFC itself, on Wednesday night (05). through a post on Twitter.

John Lineker, 28 years old, is ranked 10th in the bantamweight division (up to 61,2kg). In his professional record, the fighter has already performed 36 times, recording 29 wins and seven losses. The Paraná native lost his last fight, against Cory Sandhagen, in April this year.

In turn, Font, 32 years old, has a record of 16 wins and four losses. In his last fight, the North American, 12th in the division's rankings, defeated Sergio Pettis, in December, in a unanimous decision by the judges.

UFC Greenville

The main fight of UFC Greenville will be between the Brazilian Renato Moicano before Chan sung jung: Korean zombie. In addition to Lineker and Moicano, Brazil will be represented on the card by three more athletes: Anderson Berinja faces Andrew Ewell; Brun Blindado duela diante de Deron Winn e Ariane Lipski enfrenta Molly McCann.
