The Flamengo full-back, Pará, had a noble attitude last Sunday. After being criticized by the fighter after his poor performance in the match against LDU, last Wednesday (8), for the Copa Libertadores da América, the athlete chose not to pay in kind and send a message of support to Aldo , who were defeated last weekend by UFC 237, in Rio de Janeiro. The 'People's Champion' is an admitted Flamengo fanatic.

On the day of Flamengo's match, which would decide whether or not the team would progress to the next phase of the competition, some publications criticizing Pará's performance were published on the former featherweight champion's (up to 65,7kg) official Twitter.
“The Flamengo game ends and it’s been the same thing for years. It's no longer possible. Pará is very weak”, says the text published on the fighter’s Twitter.
Since the Flamengo athlete's statement, Aldo had not responded to the content.

José Aldo was defeated by Alexander Volkanovsky in the third fight on the main card at UFC 237. Known for his versatility as a fighter, the Brazilian, on this occasion, did not perform well and suffered a defeat by unanimous decision from the judges, 'at home', in Rio de Janeiro.
At 32 years old, the fighter is at the end of his contract with the UFC and has signaled a few times his desire to retire from MMA. The athlete, however, stated a few times that he wanted to start a career in professional boxing.
