“I’m not thinking about a rematch at this point. There are other things I want to do in my life now”, said the former champion, who left the possibility of retirement up in the air. “I don’t know (if I’ll retire). I’m not in a position to make any decisions right now, but I want to do other things at the moment,” Rose said.

The fighter was also asked if she feels happy knowing that the title is in good hands, as she and the Brazilian showed a lot of respect for each other during all the moments leading up to the fight. Showing her usual good sport and simplicity, Rose first joked, saying 'no', but then confessed that she is happy with Jessica's achievement.

"No. I want that belt”, joked Namajunas, who soon stated that he was happy with 'Bate-Estaca'. "Yes. Everything is fine. I’m happy for her”, concluded Rose.

The North American was greatly applauded by the public present at the press conference when she got up to leave the place.

This was the fourth defeat of the athlete's career, who was on a three-win streak. Two of them, against the former category champion, Joana Jedrzejczyk.
