It wasn't the day Rogério Minotouro. The Brazilian legend entered the octagon of UFC 237 this Saturday (11) and was defeated by Ryan spann, 15 years younger, in the first round. This was the Brazilian's third defeat in his last five fights.

The fight represented the last duel on the preliminary card. With victory, Ryan spann hopes to enter the light heavyweight rankings (up to 93kg) once and for all and make his way to the top of the division.
At 42 years old, Minotouro has already publicly revealed that he will end his career soon. Far from the moments of glory of his career, the fight marked the ninth defeat in Rogério's career.
The fight
The duel began with the athletes studying each other in the center of the Octagon. Physically stronger, Spann tried to land two punches on Minotouro's face, which he managed to dodge. Soon after, Rogério tried to take the fight to the ground, but his opponent fell on top. The Brazilian, however, managed to get up and the athletes started to exchange franks. In a moment of happiness, Ryan managed to land a good blow on Minotouro, who collapsed. The North American was left to land one more blow until the referee stopped the fight, declaring Spann's victory.
After the dispute, Ryan stated his idolatry for the Brazilian, who, together with his brother, Rodrigo Minotauro, helped build the history of world MMA.
Thiago Moisés fights well and defeats Kurt Holobaugh

The clash between the athletes began with a frank exchange. Moments after exchanging blows in the center of the octagon, the American began trying to take down the Brazilian, who defended well. Once again the fighters threw punches again, one of them hit Thiago, who staggered but recovered. Soon after, Moisés managed to get a good takedown on his opponent and started hitting his opponent with elbows, looking for space for a submission. The duel remained on the ground until the end of the stage.

With two minutes left in the fight, Thiago almost managed to submit his opponent with a rear naked choke. Holobaugh, however, showed courage and managed to get out of the position. At the end of the duel, Moisés almost managed to knock out his opponent, however, there was no more time.
Warlley Alves shows superiority and defeats Serginho Moraes by knockout
It wasn't this time that Serginho Moraes He came out smiling again after a fight for the UFC. In a duel, which had a balanced first round, Warlley alves He appeared more complete and achieved a beautiful knockout over his compatriot in a fight in the welterweight division (under 77kg).
In the first round, as expected, the athletes showed total balance in the battle. Serginho surprised everyone, as at no point during the assault did he try to apply takedowns to Warlley so he could use his Jiu-jitsu, which is the athlete's trademark.
The second round began with Warlley taking control of the duel. Serginho was not performing well and began to be easy prey for his opponent. Unlike other moments, Moraes continued not trying to take the fight to the ground, facilitating Alves' performance.
In the last stage, Serginho started attacking Alves. The athlete accepted the open fight and they began to throw blows at each other. With his leg very red, Moraes began to show signs of pain and fatigue. Alves took advantage of the situation and continued attacking his opponent, who defended himself and tried, unsuccessfully, to counterattack. Coming to the end, Serginho seemed to want the fight to end. The athlete did not throw any blows and, at one point, was knocked out when hit by a sharp blow to the chin, declaring Warlley's victory.
