Even defeated, Jacaré earns a salary almost three times higher than the executioner at UFC Fort Lauderdale

The Florida State Boxing Athletic Commission, the entity that sanctioned the event, disclosed the scholarships paid to the athletes and Jacaré received the second highest salary on the show. He earned US$210, around R$825 at current rates, in salaries. The value is almost three times greater than his tormentor's purse. Hermansson received US$41 in fees plus US$41 in bonuses for the victory, totaling US$82 (around R$322).

The only athlete to have a higher salary than Jacaré was the heavyweight Andrei Arlovski. The Belarusian, despite being defeated by Augusto Sakai from Paraná on the preliminary card, received the sum of US$300, around 1,18 million at the current exchange rate.

In addition to Jacaré, another Brazilian closed the UFC Fort Lauderdale with the same bag. Glover Teixeira, who defeated Ion cutelaba on the main card, he also pocketed US$210 in compensation – US$110 in salary plus US$110 in bonuses for victory.
