With doping TJ Dillashaw, the brazilian Marlon moraes, number one in the ranking of roosters (up to 61,2 kg.), and the North American Henry Cejudo, flyweight champion (up to 56,7 kg.), are the main candidates to fight for the title relinquished by the now former champion. And the rivalry between them heated up as soon as the category throne became vacant.

The confusion between Marlon and Cejudo began when the Brazilian, in an interview with 'Ariel Helwani's MMA Show', minimized the fact that the North American moved up to bantamweight already fighting for the belt. Without wasting time, Cejudo responded to the Brazilian athlete on Twitter.

PUBLICITY:

“I was the youngest Olympic gold medalist. I'm the UFC flyweight champion and I just knocked out an anabolic steroid user in 32 seconds. Do you think I'm scared of a former WSOF champion?” said Henry, remembering Marlon's title, before signing with the UFC.

The Brazilian didn't let it go and responded to his rival, remembering an unsuccessful flirtation between the flyweight champion and Nikki Bella, a WWE fighter.

PUBLICITY:

“I was humbled my friend. Mind your business and I will mind mine or if you mess with me it will be worse than it was with that girl from WWE”, said the Brazilian.

Finally, Cejudo once again attacked the Brazilian and his manager, Ali Abdelaziz, known for creating various intrigues with his clients' opponents.

PUBLICITY:

“Oh, look at the WSOF champion acting tough now. Good one, Magic (Marlon's nickname). Was it Ali (Abdelaziz) who wrote this for you?”

Despite the tense atmosphere between Marlon moraes e Henry Cejudo, the UFC has not yet taken a position on the future of the bantamweight division. Although TJ Dillshaw relinquished the title as soon as the doping announcement was made, he still remains champion on the franchise's website.
