Peter Munhoz achieved the most important victory of his career by knocking out cody garbrandt at UFC 235. The triumph over the former bantamweight champion saw the Brazilian move up five positions and appear in fourth place in the category ranking.
With the defeat, Garbrandt fell to sixth place and changed the top of the bantamweight rankings. The top-5 in the category is made up of: TJ Dillashaw, Marlon moraes, Raphael assuncao, aljamain sterling, Peter Munhoz e Dominick Cruz.
In the light heavyweight category, Jon Jones kept the belt by winning Anthony Smith and remained absolute at the top. But whoever profited from 'Bones' victory was Thiago Marreta. The Brazilian moved up one position and is third in the ranking.
Tyron woodley was defeated by Kamaru USman and lost the welterweight belt. With the setback, the former champion dropped seven positions in the weight-for-weight rankings. Now, the North American is in 13th place. The new champion of the category debuted on the list of the best UFC fighters in ninth place.
The biggest rise was Weili Zhang who won Tecia torres by unanimous decision. With her dominance over the North American, the Chinese left 15th place and appeared in seventh place in the women's strawweight rankings.
