UFC Prague: Jan Blachowicz receives 180 days of medical suspension after being knocked out by Thiago Marreta

Jan Blachowicz was knocked out by Thiago Marreta at 39 seconds in the third round of the main fight of UFC Prague, held last Saturday (23). After the battle in the Czech Republic, the Pole received 180 days of medical suspension. Due to a suspected nose injury, the light heavyweight needs to be cleared by a doctor to return to fight before the period indicated by Ultimate.

Blachowicz's executioner, Thiago only received a mandatory minimum medical hook. The Brazilian must be away from training for seven days.

Four other athletes were suspended for six months: Marcos Foot, Klidson Abreu, Magomed Ankalayev and Chris Fishgold.

Carlos Diego Ferreira beat Rustam Khabilov in a unanimous decision and took the hook for a month. The Brazilian will have to spend 21 days without training with physical contact.
