Thiago Michel saves Brazilian night at Bellator 62

Brazil entered the Bellator lightweight GP with four representatives in the first phase of the dispute. But, on a bad night for Brazilian athletes, only Thiago Michel managed to secure a place in the tournament's semifinals. In the 62nd edition of the event, held this Friday (23), in Laredo, in the United States, Patricky Pitbull, Ricardo Tirloni and René Nazaré were eliminated in the quarterfinals of the dispute.

With 14 wins and just one defeat in his career, precisely for Ben henderson, current UFC champion, Brazilian Ricardo Tirloni was considered one of the favorites in the tournament. But facing Rick Hawn, the dream of the title ended early for the athlete from Santa Catarina. Tirloni started the fight well, but ended up being surprised by the North American halfway through the first round.
