Cejudo challenges Dillashaw for bantamweight title during UFC Brooklyn press conference

Ultimate held the UFC Brooklyn press conference at the Music Hall of Williamsburg in New York (USA). Henry Cejudo e TJ Dillashaw carried out the main provocations on Thursday afternoon (17). The flyweight champion anticipated the confrontation and challenged his rival to a second duel, but this time for the bantamweight belt.

“I want to do one more fight against TJ Dillashaw, even winning on Saturday. But then it will be in the other division. I'll take your belt. First I will defend my division, then I will take your belt”, proposed Cejudo.

Henry also asked the president of Ultimate to maintain the flyweight category in the organization. The Olympic medalist proposed to Dana White that if he beats Dillashaw he would keep the division active.

“I know the flyweight division touches your heart, Dana. So we can make a deal here. If I win the fight on Saturday, you keep the division”, asked Henry.

However, the franchise commander tried to talk things out and just said: “Let’s see what happens on Saturday”.

Upon hearing his rival's speech, Dillashaw interrupted him and taunted: “That's your problem. You are doing it for others and I am doing it for me. This is a selfish sport.”

At the moment of the confrontation, Cejudo took a fake snake from a black bag and repeatedly hit it on the floor of the stage. The provocation was directed at the opponent who has the nickname 'Viper'.
