Chris Cyborg e Amanda nunes will star in the first female MMA superfight at UFC 232, on December 29th in Los Angeles (USA). The Paraná native will put the featherweight belt up for grabs against the Bahian. To win this battle, Justino summoned former opponents of the 'Leoa' to his camp, among them, Valentina Shevchenko.

By following and helping Cyborg in training for the superfight, Shevchenko predicts that the fight between the Brazilians will not go to the judges' decision. Speaking to journalists, the Kyrgyzstani bet on Cris winning by knockout or submission before the start of the last round.
“Cris will end this fight before going to the decision. She will knockout or submit in the third, maybe the fourth round. (…) Amanda will start well, I think she will use the same tactic she used against me. Try to avoid open exchanges, move around, score points… (…) Without much damage, but with more points. In some situations, that's okay. You never know what could happen. She'll try some takedowns or something, but with the pressure from 'Cyborg', Amanda won't be able to do that much. (…) She will get tired and, at that moment, 'Cyborg' will go all out and end the fight”, said Valentina.
Shevchenko faced Amanda in 2016 and 2017 at UFC 196 and 215. On both occasions, the Brazilian won by decision of the judges. Even with two setbacks, Valentina stated that she still has 'unfinished business' with Nunes and would like to have a third fight.
At the beginning of December, the Kyrgyzstani won the vacant flyweight belt by beating Joanna Jedrzejczyk. Valentina has 19 fights in her record, 16 triumphs and three setbacks.
