Thiago Marreta knocked out Jimi Manuwa in just 41 seconds and pocketed the R$194 bonus for 'Performance of the Night' at UFC 231 in Toronto (CAN). After undergoing the official 'baptism' in the category, the Brazilian debuted in the light heavyweight rankings in seventh place. Furthermore, Santos still remains in 15th place on the middleweight list. Its English rival fell two positions and appears in ninth place.
The same happens with Joanna Jedrzejczyk which was defeated by Valentina Shevchenko in the fight for the women's flyweight belt. The Polish woman appears in sixth place in the under-56kg category and in second place in the strawweight category. With the setback of the former champion of the under-52kg division, Jessica Stacker rose to first place.
With the victory over Claudia gadelha, Nina ansaroff rose eight positions and occupies third place in the strawweight rankings. The Brazilian fell to fifth place on the list.
In the middleweight rankings, Gunnar Nelson won Alex Cowboy rose two positions and occupies 12th place. The Brazilian dropped two places and appears in 15th.
After winning his second featherweight title defense against Brian ortega, Max Holloway moved up one position in the weight-for-weight ranking and is in fourth place. 'Blessed' is second only to Daniel Cormier, Khabib Nurmegomedov and Jon Jones.
