After much waiting and various speculations, the Brazilian Glover Teixeira finally arranged his move to the UFC. Considered the greatest fighter operating in the country, the 32-year-old Minas Gerais native managed to resolve his problem with the North American consulate, which prevented the issuance of a visa and the signing of the contract, and is now confirmed among the Ultimate athletes.
Glover has a professional record of 17 wins and two losses, and has important victories in his record, such as against Ricco Rodriguez, Eastman Marvin, Antonio Mendes, Daniel Tabera and Rameau Sokoudjou.
According to information from the North American website MMA Junkie, Teixeira's debut should take place in the middle of this year, probably in June, although his opponent and events have not yet been confirmed.
