After defeat at UFC Moncton, Golm receives six-month medical suspension

Defeated by Arjan Bhullar on the UFC Moncton preliminary card, held last Saturday (27), in a duel valid for the heavyweight category, Marcelo Golm received another bad news. The Commission responsible for legalizing the event announced a long medical suspension for the Brazilian, who may have to stay away from activities for up to six months, but may be free to return sooner if he receives clearance after an x-ray on his right foot. His tormentor only got 30 days of 'hook'.

In addition to Marcelo, five more fighters received 180 days of suspension: Nordine Taleb, Nasrat Haqparast, Chris Fishgold and the light heavyweights Anthony Smith e Volkan oezdemir, who had the most important fight of the show, won by the North American via submission in the third round. Everyone, like Golm, can be released after undergoing medical evaluations.

Brazilian Talita Bernardo, who achieved her first UFC victory by defeating Sarah Moras, was suspended for just 14 days, the same time as Patrick Cummins and Andre Soukhamthath, who also received the minimum sentence.
