With less than two weeks to go before returning to the octagon, Marcos Foot, who will now fight in the heavyweight division, has a new opponent. Initially scheduled to face Ruslan Magomedov at UFC 230, on November 3, in New York, the Brazilian will face Polish Adam Wieczorek, who replaces the Russian, who had problems with his American visa.

This will be Pezão's first fight since he was caught in an anti-doping test, and was later cleared. A participant in TUF Brasil 3, the 33-year-old athlete alternates between ups and downs in the organization, always working as a light heavyweight. After knocking out Rick Monster and Igor Pokrajac in their first challenges at home, he has had three wins and three defeats in the last six fights. Its last performance was in April 2017, when it was completed by Ovince St Preux.
Seven years younger than the Brazilian, Wieczorek arrived in the UFC in November last year, beating Anthony Hamilton on points. In April this year, he triumphed for the second time by submitting Arjan Bhullar with a rare omoplata. In 11 professional fights, he won 10 (six by submission) and lost one, in 2011, to Marcin tybura, who is also part of the Ultimate squad.
