The Brazilian Edson Barboza There are many reasons to celebrate at UFC Rio 2. In addition to knocking out the Englishman Terry emo and scoring his fourth consecutive victory in the organization, the Brazilian fighter received two extra prizes from the organization.
Right after UFC Rio 2, Ultimate announced the awards for best fight, best knockout and best submission of the event, and Edson after the spectacular spinning kick in Terry emo scored the best knockout of the show. The fighter received an extra US$65 (about R$116).
In addition to the best knockout, Edson also bagged the bonus for best fight of the show. The best finish went to Rousimar Toquinho, which with a beautiful leg lock submission Mike Mike massenzio, scored his sixth victory in the last seven appearances.
