Conor McGregor was almost 15 minutes late for the UFC 229 ceremonial weigh-in, but when he arrived on stage, the Irishman literally 'caused' him with Khabib Nurmagomedov. After stepping on the scale and going for the traditional face-off, the 'Notório' did everything he could to destabilize his rival. He punched the arm and tried to kick the Russian, before being restrained by security guards (watch the video below).

The confusion
First to take the stage, McGregor received a standing ovation from the fans and reciprocated their support by throwing a cap to the crowd. On the scale, he posed for photos and screamed as soon as the weight reached 70kg. was announced. The audience at T-Mobile Arena went wild.
Afterwards, Nurmagomedov took to the stage with his traditional yellow wig. Calmly, the Russian walked to the scale facing his rival and got on the scale without even taking off his shirt.
At the time of the traditional facera, several security guards surrounded the athletes who were separated by a few meters. Dana White, president of the UFC, tried to keep his distance and warned 'no touching'. But Conor walked up to Khabib and punched his rival's arm. The Russian was not intimidated and called him into a fight. Afterwards, the Irishman tried to throw a shot, which went wide. Security arrived on the scene and removed the fighters.
