Away from the Octagon this 2016, Ronda Rousey carves out a successful career in WWE – the US telecatch league. The blonde won the organization's women's belt by overcoming Alexa Bliss and becoming champion of the pro-wrestling organization. The clash was an attraction at SummerSlam, an edition held at the Barclays Center gym, in New York (USA).

Just like in the staged dispute, Ronda ended the fight in the way that made her famous in MMA: the armbar. She attacked Bliss' joint, who was forced to give up the fight. The public, alongside Rousey throughout, went wild with her judo black belt achievement.
Lesnar loses belt
Besides Ronda Rousey, another former UFC fighter also entered the WWE ring, but with a different ending. The former Ultimate heavyweight champion, Brock Lesnar lost his pro-wrestling league reign. The giant was by Roman Reigns. On the other hand, the setback paves the way for Brock's speculated return to the Octagon, at the beginning of 2019, in a title fight against Daniel Cormier.
