Melendez and Mousasi receive the highest salaries from the last Strikeforce of 2011

After mastering Jorge masvidal and successfully defend the Strikeforce belt, American Gilbert Melendez has one more reason to celebrate. Cesar Gracie's pupil earned the highest salary at the event, held last Saturday (17), in San Diego, in the United States. The California State Athletic Commission released, this Wednesday, the scholarships paid to athletes, and Melendez earned US$150 for the presentation. In addition to the lightweight champion, Armenian Gegard Mousasi, who defeated Ovince St Preux in the unanimous decision of the judges, he earned the same amount.

The Brazilian Chris Cyborg, who knocked out the Japanese Hiroko yamanaka in just 16 seconds, he came right behind the highest paid and took away the US$66 purse.
