UFC fighter is victim of domestic violence by her husband

MMA fighters are super athletes capable of exchanging blows with great intensity, but even that doesn't mean they are free from a constant problem in today's society: domestic violence. This Wednesday (15) the fact that the Ultimate flyweight, Andrea Lee being attacked by her husband Donny Aaron during UFC 227, held on the 5th.

The news was revealed to the North American website “My MMA News”, which had access to the Louisiana state police report (USA). During the incident, fellow fighter Andy Nguyen, who lived with the couple, reported that the fight began when the couple disagreed with the result of their victory. Another controversy

This is not the first controversy involving Donny Aaron and  Andrea Lee. In June, the couple was heavily criticized for having a Nazi symbol tattooed on his arm. “I was in my room, trying to sleep at their house. I could hear them complaining about how “Mighty Mouse” (Demetrious Johnson) had been stolen (at UFC 227). The event had already ended and I hear Donny screaming. I sat on my bed and thought, “What is happening?” I get a text from Donny's mom asking if she needed to come home, but I said no. Then I hear more screaming and I hear Donny swearing at Andrea. I opened my door and saw her running to her daughter's room. Donny was trying to burn her on her arm and body using a cigarette. She screamed for him to stop. The only person who tried to help me stop him was Donny's father, who is in his 70s or 80s. There was another guy named Kendrick, who was big and strong, but he wouldn't leave his room to help me. He put on his headphones and acted like this happened all the time. He simply ignored the scene.

 At the time I wasn't in shock about what was happening, but I was panicking. I ran back to my room and texted his mom: “I don’t want to call the police. Can you come here?”, and it was already around 1:30 am. I went back to sleep, but woke up around 4:30 am. I still listened to Donny. His parents were already gone. I turned on the light in my room and opened the door so Donny knew I was already awake. He usually does his stupid things behind closed doors. I went to the kitchen and heard them fighting, but silence came suddenly. I thought it might be over, then out of nowhere I heard a groan, and the dog in the kennel started barking. I heard her asking him to stop. I opened the door and said, “Donny, leave her alone.” He seemed to be completely lost. He hadn't slept in two days and was drinking straight away. I didn't know if he was taking anything. I step back when he starts coming towards me. Andrea started to button her shorts and fled barefoot through the back door.
Then Donny started yelling, “She’s been cheating on me for three years,” and I said, “No, she hasn’t. You might think she’s cheating on you, but she didn’t do anything.” He saw her run away and followed. It was 5:30 am and she was running. I put on my gym clothes to run after him if I had to, but he came home and said, “I did it again, I did it again.” I asked, “What did you do? Did you kill her?”, since he has already killed someone else before. I didn't know if he picked up a rock and hit her on the head. I was scared to leave the house. So, he replied that he made her run barefoot again. I told him to give me the car keys, but he refused saying that she would think it was him and wouldn't stop.

I knew there was no gas in the car because I picked up Donny and took him home because he was drunk at the bar. He finally gave me the car keys and the sun was already rising. I drove to the gas station, got out of the car and called the police who were there. I said that my friend was being attacked by her husband. I gave the name and address, and about six police officers showed up at the scene. She had taken an Uber to a hotel. I went to the hotel to find her and gave her all her belongings, until the police came to the hotel to question her and carry out the investigation.
He wasn't at the house when the police arrived, but Donny saw that the police cars were coming and ended up running away with his father. They have been missing since then. They must already have an arrest warrant. That sucks because Donny was a cop. He's fucked up in the head. He was trying to get her to do some things and fake evidence that she was cheating on him. He was trying to get her to drop her pants so he could send photos to a guy, making it look like she did the sending. The two argued all week. She couldn't train because he was keeping her at home, he wasn't letting her leave the house. I didn't call the police until it got physical.
He was trying to choke her, but she was defending herself well. She didn't get beaten. The police took photos of the marks on her neck. It wasn't so bad this time. No black eye or anything, but he had hit her before. I wasn't there when it happened. He was my coach and my friend. This was the first time it happened in my presence and I wasn't going to let it go. Domestic violence has been happening for years. I had simply never seen it.

Another important thing too. The UFC and several other people offered Donny to cover up the swastika tattoo for free, but he never wanted to do it. Everyone has seen the little swastika he has on his elbow online. I have a photo of a larger tattoo he has on his shoulder, but no one knows about it. All he had to do was cover the little one, but he didn't. I would have done it to save my wife's career, but he didn't want to. This is shit. It's not Andrea's fault. She is sweet and kind, and she always ends up forgiving him. But this time, it’s over.”
