Much information at the beginning of the year confirmed Floyd Mayweather's move to MMA. The fighter and his team confirmed 'Money's' interest in entering the UFC octagon and even suggested that there was a negotiation with Ultimate. In an interview with the website “TMZ Sports”, the boxer assured that he does not intend to come out of retirement at the moment.

"I am very busy. There are a lot of different things going on. If you haven't heard, I'm building the tallest building in New York. I’m one of the investors”, said the boxer.

Mayweather admitted that he could go back if he was sure to remain retired and left his future open. “I’m not thinking about fighting right now. In two weeks, I will be able to give another interview saying the opposite, that I am willing to fight in MMA. So in two months I’ll say I’m not there anymore,” Floyd explained.

Floyd Mayweather has a record of 50 fights and 50 wins, where he faced some of the most famous boxers in the category, such as Oscar De La Hoya, Miguel Cotto, Saúl 'Canelo' Alvarez and Manny Pacquiao. With that, he is in the boxing hall of fame.
