Coming off a great performance at Bellator 200 on Friday (25) when he defeated David Rickels by submission at 43 seconds of R2, Michael “Venom” Page wants to compete in another boxing fight. In an interview with “The MMA Hour” on Tuesday, the fighter stated that he wants to have a boxing match before returning for his next fight at Bellator.

“I'm actually wanting a boxing match, just to get one as quickly as possible, so I hope to go for it. There are still some things we need to resolve and then get back to MMA,” said Page.

The British fighter's next fight for Bellator should be Paul Daley. This clash has been requested by MMA fans for years, but there has not yet been a consensus among the athletes.

Venom hopes to be back in the cage soon, where he believes he is on a 'different level' to other fighters.

“There's no one in the world that can do what I do in the cage, in terms of how many angles I hit, in terms of how I capture the crowd, the moves I can do in the cage, the speed, my accuracy. The excitement. I think I put on a complete show that no one else can really put on while they are in the cage,” she stated.

Michael “Venom” Page, 31, has a record of 13 MMA fights and has come out victorious in all of them. The fighter has a boxing fight and a kickboxing fight, in both of which Page won.
