“I was taken by surprise by the news that one of the tests taken by USADA in April was positive for a banned substance. I made myself available to USADA and the UFC and I am working with my team to understand what happened. I have always been very careful with everything I take and have always supported clean sport. You can be sure that we will clear up this misunderstanding and I hope to soon be able to get back to doing what I love, which is fighting,” said the Brazilian on Instagram.
