Hangout SUPER FIGHTS analyzes the busy UFC São Paulo

Starting at 20pm, the SUPER LUTAS team will discuss, live, the results of all the fights on the UFC São Paulo card

The UFC ended the 2017 season in Brazil in style. Last Saturday (28), the largest octagon in the world was the scene of busy fights in São Paulo, an event held at the Ibirapuera gym, which saw 12 Brazilians in action, nine of whom were successful in their challenges.

In the main fight of the night, Lyoto Machida, who returned to fight after more than two years away, including an 18-month suspension for doping, was no match for the aggressiveness of Derek Brunson, who knocked out the Brazilian in less than three minutes. At 39 years old, the ‘Dragon’ suffered the third setback in a row.

In the second most prominent fight of the event, Demian Maia couldn't use his dangerous jiu-jitsu against the loudmouth Colby covington, who won a unanimous decision and caused fury among the public present after insulting the Brazilians. However, the card still featured many victories by home athletes, including Peter Munhoz, Francisco Massaranduba, Thiago Marreta, Antonio Shoe Guy, Vincent Luque and others.

These and other battles will be the subject of Hangout SUPER FIGHTS. Starting at 20pm (Brasília time), the site's team will meet to analyze the main fights of the show and their possible developments. Don't miss it!
