Boxer Floyd Mayweather is expected to get the biggest salary of his career when he faces Conor McGregor on August 26th. The North American let slip the amount of his salary for the super fight against the UFC champion, during an interview with the program “All Access”, which is following in the footsteps of the two athletes before the event. According to “Money”, he will receive US$300 million “or more” to face the Irishman.

“I can do all this in 36 minutes. In this period of time, I will earn $300 million, or more than that. I'm just being truthful. As I said before, I'm not in difficulties, I don't have financial problems. I have money. They say this and that about Mayweather, but I'm not in trouble. Far from it”, commented Floyd, who cannot say how much McGregor will earn in the fight.

“I don’t know how much the UFC pays Conor McGregor, nor what he will gain against me. But I make millions of dollars monthly. While they talk, I do. I have a lot of money. Much more than most people will achieve in a lifetime,” he declared.

The $300 million “or more” Mayweather is expected to earn against Conor McGregor make the duel against the Irishman the most profitable of the boxer's career. Against Manny Pacquiao, Floyd's purse was above US$200 million, but below US$300 million. Official salary figures for the American were not released at that time.
