The UFC announced, this Saturday (4), two important fights for the event that will be held in Kansas City (USA), on April 15th. And both fights involve Brazilians. The average weight Ronaldo Jacare continues to look for a chance at the belt in his division against the dangerous Robert whittaker. Flyweight Wilson reis got his chance and will challenge the champion Demetrious Johnson for the title at 57 kg.

Jacaré will have just over two months between his last fight and the next. At UFC 208 on February 11, the Brazilian quickly submitted Tim Boetsch with a kimura. Now, he is looking for his third consecutive victory against Whittaker, who last fought in November last year, knocking out Derek Brunson in the first round.

Yes, Wilson reis will finally have his chance to dethrone today's most dominant champion. Demetrious Johnson did, against Tim Elliott, his ninth consecutive title defense and, if he beats the Brazilian, he will equal the record of Anderson Silva, who defended the middleweight title ten times before losing to Chris Weidman at UFC 162 in 2013.

Reis has six wins and two losses in Ultimate and, like Jacaré, he last won at UFC 208, dominating the Japanese Ulka Sasaki. He is on a three-fight winning streak, having also beaten Hector Sandoval and Dustin Ortiz. His last setback was against his compatriot Jussier formiga, in May 2015.
