The UFC 208 ceremonial weigh-in took place this Friday (10), without any major tensions between the two. Anderson Silva e Derek Brunson, who are fighting the second most important fight of the night, were treated respectfully and the former middleweight champion was applauded by the fans present at the weigh-in at the Barclays Center. Spider made weight at the official weigh-in earlier without any major scares.
The most memorable moment was when featherweights Philippe Nover and Rick Glenn came face to face. Nover innovated when provoking his opponent, giving him flowers and chocolates as a gift for Valentine's Day, which in the United States is celebrated on February 14th.

Glenn wasn't irritated by the provocation, but he didn't want to keep the gift, preferring to give the chocolate and flowers to Arianny Celeste, one of the UFC's ring girls and the longest-serving model currently in the role.
