The veteran lightweight Jim Miller will try to continue the good phase of his career and will seek, at UFC 208 on February 11, his fourth consecutive victory against Dustin poirier.
Miller, the record holder for victories in the category, with 17, was going through a bad moment in his career, losing two in a row between the end of 2015 and beginning of 2016. After UFC 196, however, there are already three victories, against Takanori Gomi, Joe lauzon and Thiago Alves.
Yes, Dustin poirier tries to recover after suffering his first setback at lightweight. After moving up from featherweight, “Diamante” began his journey in the new division with four consecutive victories, but comes from a knockout defeat to Michael Johnson, at UFC Hidalgo.
UFC 208 for now is headlined by the first women's featherweight title fight, between Holly holm e Germaine DeRandamie. However, the duel between José Aldo e Max Holloway, for the unification of the men's featherweight belt, could soon be confirmed for the same event.
