Gegard Mousasi proved at UFC Belfast, an event held this Saturday afternoon (19), in Ireland, that he also wants to enter the fight for the Ultimate middleweight belt. The Dutchman fought a risk-free fight, avoiding Hall's attacks, and took him to the ground at the end of the first round to win by technical knockout after several punches from above.
The victory took Gegard to his fourth middleweight victory in a series. He is currently fifth in the category ranking and could enter the dispute with Ronaldo Jacare e Yoel romero to challenge the champion Michael Bisping for the category belt.
