Gegard Mousasi proved at UFC Belfast, an event held this Saturday afternoon (19), in Ireland, that he also wants to enter the fight for the Ultimate middleweight belt. The Dutchman fought a risk-free fight, avoiding Hall's attacks, and took him to the ground at the end of the first round to win by technical knockout after several punches from above.
The victory took Gegard to his fourth middleweight victory in a series. He is currently fifth in the category ranking and could enter the dispute with Ronaldo Jacare e Yoel romero to challenge the champion Michael Bisping for the category belt.

In addition to Mousasi, who also shone in the show was Artem Lobov, the friend and training partner of Conor McGregor He played a game that was reminiscent of the featherweight and lightweight champion and beat the Japanese Teruto Ishihara by the judges' decision.
Mousasi wins and climbs the rankings
Patience was the key to his fifth consecutive victory Gegard Mousasi in Ultimate. The Dutch-born Armenian was not intimidated by Urijah Hall's almost deadly round kicks. Mousasi, despite not moving much, had good time to dodge his rival's attacks.

McGregor's partner wins in big fight
In another notable duel of the night, whoever had the party with Conor McGregor. The featherweight and lightweight champion saw the great performance of his friend Artem Lobov. against the Japanese Teruto Ishihara.
With speed reminiscent of McGregor – who was sitting in the front row of seats, Lobov took over the octagon and struck the Japanese hard with several combinations of punches.
Last Saturday, Ishihara almost surprised Lobov. He threw a counter blow that connected squarely in the face of the Russian-born Irishman, who went to the ground. But with a lot of determination, Artem managed to get out of the pressure on the ground, recovered and returned to the contest.
