Change in the main fight of UFC Belfast, an event that takes place in the Northern Irish capital on November 19th. Gunnar Nelson, who would face Dong Hyun Kim in the main attraction of the event, was injured, which forced Ultimate to have a new fight: Gegard Mousasi x Uriah Hall.

The middleweight duel will last five rounds and will represent a rematch. The two faced each other at UFC Japan, in September 2015, when Hall surprised, achieved an impressive comeback and knocked out the favorite Mousasi in the second round of the fight.

This time, the two athletes arrive in opposite situations for the fight. After losing to Hall, Mousasi had victories against three Brazilians: Thales leites, Thiago Marreta and most recently Vitor belfort. The duel against “Fenômeno” took place on October 8th, at UFC 204, and Mousasi won by technical knockout.

Hall, in turn, is going through a complicated phase. The Jamaican has lost two fights in a row since beating Mousasi: first against Robert whittaker, and then against Derek Brunson.

So far, UFC Belfast does not have any confirmed Brazilians. The show will take place on the same day as UFC Sao Paulo, at the Ibirapuera Gymnasium, which will have Rogério Minotouro x Ryan bader in the main fight.
