With an eye on making history and becoming the first UFC fighter to win two titles simultaneously, Conor McGregor admitted the possibility of giving up a belt if he beats Eddie Alvarez at UFC 205, an event that takes place on November 12, in New York (USA). However, the Irishman imposed a small condition for this to happen.

Current featherweight champion (up to 66 kg), McGregor will duel with Alvarez for the lightweight title (70 kg). In case of victory, the fighter wants to see photos of himself with two belts in his arms before giving up one of them, as it would be an unprecedented event.

“Let me see press photos with a belt on each shoulder first. Let me go to the side of the Octagon and hold up two belts. This has never been done before. Before I talk about getting a belt, let me do that first”, he asked, in an interview with the “Sports Illustrated” magazine website.

McGregor, who has stated in the past that he would not give up any title, declared that he just wants to have this moment of pleasure. “I will always make the right business decision and do what is right. But let me, in the future, be able to look back and see photos of me with two belts. Let me enjoy it even for half a day,” he added.
