With four consecutive victories since leaving the UFC, the Brazilian Danillo “Indian” Villefort He already has a date and opponent set for his Strikeforce debut. The middleweight will fight on August 12th at Strikeforce Challengers 18, where he will face the North American Nathan James on the preliminary card of the edition based in Las Vegas.

Like his opponent, James will also fight for the first time in Strikeforce. In his most recent career fight, the American defeated his compatriot Marcus Sursa, by unanimous decision of the judges, at Undisputed MMA 1, which took place on the 18th in the United States.
In addition to “Índio”, Strikeforce Challengers 18 will also feature the participation of another Brazilian. Light weight Jorge gurgel will be in action in the main fight of the night when facing the North American Joe duarte in search of your
