UFC Rio had its seventh fight today (11) defined by the event's directors. The Brazilians Rousimar Toquinho e Alexandre Cacareco will face each other between the middleweights of the Ultimate in what will be the 134th edition of the North American organization. Initially, the fight was scheduled for UFC on Versus 3, which took place in March this year, but Cacareco ended up having to be removed from the card.

Specialist in submissions, Toquinho is coming off a victory over North American Dave Branch at UFC on Versus 3, held in March this year. The tough guy has a record of 12 wins and three losses and his main career asset is winning the Fury FC middleweight GP, held in 2007 in São Paulo.

Cacareco, in turn, was defeated in his UFC debut, an event that put an end to an unbeaten record that the fighter had had since 2007. The tough guy was knocked out by Belarusian Vladimir Matyushenko in the first round of the fight valid at UFC 122, which took place in November of last year.
