Lorenzo Fertitta wants Jon Jones against Anderson Silva in the UFC

After knocking out Mauricio “Shogun” (remember here) and win the UFC light heavyweight belt, the North American Jon Jones gained recognition as a big star in world MMA. At just 23 years old, Jones is seen by UFC president Dana White as a fighter who could become the biggest name in the history of the sport. Now, with the title of the organization's most sought-after category, possible challenges begin to emerge for the young athlete. Lorenzo Fertitta, majority shareholder of Ultimate, asked on his Twitter, after UFC 128, about a possible fight between Jon and the Brazilian Anderson Silva, UFC middleweight champion.

PUBLICITY:

“Bones (nickname for Jon Jones) against (Anderson) Silva. Who will want it?” asked Fertitta on the microblog.

PUBLICITY:

During his career in the UFC, Anderson has already ventured into the light heavyweight category twice. The first time, at UFC Fight Night 14, in 2008, the Brazilian knocked out James Irvin in just 61 seconds of fighting. In his second appearance in the division, at UFC 101, in August 2009, Silva, in a heartthrob performance, ran over the former champion Forrest griffin and also knocked out the North American in the first round.

PUBLICITY:

In turn, Jones has 13 wins and just one loss on his record, with his setback due to a disqualification due to an illegal elbow in his fight against Matt Hamill in 2009.

In my opinion, this could be the best fight of all time, without a doubt it would stop the world, and I also think that our Spyder would end Bones Jones' little reign. Thanks...D@ni Caminski
