The American, who normally weighs 61 kg, was not against the idea of gaining two kilos and facing Cyborg at the same weight at which the Brazilian recently debuted in the UFC, with a quick knockout over Leslie Smith.

In an interview with the website “120 Sports”, Holm explained why she turned down a fight against Cyborg in the past and clarified that the fight is an option for her in the future. “They offered me this fight, it's true, but I was focused on seeing if I would get a rematch for the belt. So, it's not that I didn't want to fight Cyborg. It just wasn't the right time. I've fought in three different categories in boxing, so I'm not opposed to fighting at 63 kg. I think Cyborg can hit 61kg, who knows. But it would be an option for the future. I’m very happy for his victory – I really like her and I think she’s a great girl,” she declared.

The fight, however, shouldn't get off the ground any time soon. Cyborg revealed that his next fight should be in defense of the Invicta FC featherweight (66 kg) belt, while Holm has a fight scheduled against Valentina Shevchenko in July.
