One of the biggest MMA organizations today will expand its horizons. Bellator announced, this Thursday (18), that it will create its own kickboxing organization, which will hold its first event in April.

Bellator Kickboxing will feature exclusive fighters and will eventually also feature MMA athletes. The events will also be broadcast in the United States on Spike TV, a pay TV channel.

Bellator's first kickboxing fights will be held on April 16, in Turin, Italy. The attraction will feature both MMA and kickboxing fights. Furthermore, the organization has already confirmed five names for its squad: Joe Schilling, Raymond Daniels, Kevin Ross, Keri Taylor-Melendez and Anastasia Yankova.
