Rafael “Feijão” knocks out “King mo” and steals the American’s belt
Considered by the specialized press as an underdog in the duel against King mo Lawal, Rafael Feijão started with everything against the American. The Brazilian connected good punches in sequence and defended his opponent's takedown attempts well in the first two rounds. In the third round, Feijão started to define the fight. Your training companion Anderson Silva, attacked with strong knees that made Mo feel, forcing the opponent to try to attack the legs anyway, while Rafael used elbows on the waistline to punish the opponent. Unable to fight, referee Big “John” McCartney interrupted the duel and declared a technical knockout.

Ronaldo “Jacare” wins and wins belt

Ronaldo Jacaré is the new Strikeforce middleweight champion. Facing Tim Kennedy, the Brazilian showed great improvement in his striking and controlled the duel well on the feet in the first three rounds, even with a right cross from the American that caused the Tupiniquim black belt to become unbalanced in the final moments of the first round. Knowing that he had a disadvantage on the judges' scorecards, Kennedy went all out in the fourth round and connected better blows, but in the last and decisive round, Jacaré again controlled the actions and won the judges' unanimous decision (49×46 – 48×47 – 48×47)

KJ Noons knocks out Jorge gurgel

The first round of the fight was all about striking, with Gurgel looking for combinations of low kicks and punches, while KJ used counter strikes. In the final moments, the Brazilian lowered his guard and went for a frank exchange of punches, but the American dodged and at the last second connected with a cross that led to the Brazilian athlete being knocked down. At the beginning of the second round, still feeling the blow, Jorge tried to attack with a jab, but was caught with a straight shot followed by a cross, resulting in a knockdown again and being punished until the referee stopped it.

Griggs Chad finishes with unbeaten record Bobby Lashley

In the first fight of the main card, the giant Bobby Lashley was surprised by Griggs Chade. Right at the beginning of the fight, Lashley looked for the takedown to work with punches from guard. Chad tried to get up, but was quickly put down. In the second round, Bobby looked for a takedown again to punish his opponent with ground and pound. After the mount arrived, the giant severely punished Griggs with punches, but due to a cut the judge stopped the fight and the fight returned to the feet. Already feeling the rhythm of the fight, Bobby attempted a new takedown, which this time was defended, as he remained in support, Chad used punches to punish his opponent until the referee interrupted and declared a technical knockout.

André Galvão wins Tupiniquim duel

Jorge Patino “Macaco” was hastily called up by the Strikeforce organization to replace the injured Nate Moore, but anyone who thought he would be easy prey for compatriot André Galvão was mistaken. Macaco started the fight looking for the fight on his feet, while Galvão wanted the fight on the ground. After getting up from a takedown by André, Jorge Patino landed good punches on his opponent and almost managed to get a knockout at the end of the first round. In the second round, Galvão came back more focused and worked with takedowns and punches from guard. In the last and decisive round, André repeated the recipe and worked again with punches from the guard. Macaco, who was already feeling tired, gave way and did not defend himself against the blows, forcing the referee to end the fight and declare a technical knockout.

Vinicius Draculino wins in the decision

The first Brazilian to enter the octagon, Vinicius “Draculino” was away from MMA for five years, but it seems that the lack of rhythm did not weigh on the Gracie Barra-BH leader. Facing Rocky Long, “Draculino” started the fight trying to put his jiu-jitsu into practice. After a fall, he attacked his opponent with a heel hook, which was well defended by the American. In the second and third round, the speed of the fight decreased and the fighters did not connect impact blows. In the end, Vinicius “Draculino” won by unanimous decision.
