After participating in TUF Brasil 4 – the UFC's reality show – Matheus Mattos returns to MMA tonight (23), in the 85th edition of Jungle Fight. ‘Adamas’, as he is known, will face Eduardo “Máquina da Dor” at the São Paulo Futebol Clube Gymnasium, in São Paulo (SP). and promises to have a great duel.

“My expectations are the best possible, I always try to put on a good fight, always looking for a knockout or submission. I dedicate myself as much as I can to training so that I'm in the best shape when I fight and that's how I am at the moment. If it improves, I believe it will ruin it (laughs). I evolved a lot technically after TUF, but mainly mentally. Having participated in that reality show mentally shielded me from any challenge,” he said.

With a record of eight wins, five by knockout, and no defeats, the Team Nogueira athlete dreams of greater heights within the organization and is already aiming for an opportunity to compete for the bantamweight champion belt.

“My preparation was the best possible, I was able to improve my weaknesses, improve my strengths and learn new things. My camp for this fight left me 120% prepared. Getting to the belt is my goal now, it's written on my wall that I'm going to be Jungle champion. I will get there on merit, I believe I am prepared to give my best.
