The Brazilian Demian Maia is without an opponent for his fight at UFC Fight Night 22, an event that takes place on September 15th, in Austin, in the United States. Scheduled to face the American Alan belcher, the Tupiniquim black belt saw his opponent warn via Twitter that he would not be able to fight.
“Apologies to the UFC and the Demian Maia”, wrote Belcher on the microblog. “I know he has been training specifically for me. I apologize to my fans, too”, concluded Alan.
With the output of Alan belcher, the UFC organization is looking for a new opponent to Demian Maia, which should be announced in the coming days.
