The Brasilia native living in the United States Vincent Luque was one of the highlights of the first fights of UFC on FOX 17, an event held in Orlando, Florida (USA), on Saturday night (19). The fighter defeated his opponent, Hayder Hassan, with a beautiful hand triangle in the first round.

From the beginning, Luque sought to pressure Hassan through movement, including landing good punches. At one point, the American tried the clinch and ended up putting his hands on the ground, which gave Luque an opening to use the hand triangle. Hassan didn't hit and went out, sealing the victory at 2:13 of the opening round.

After the referee intervened, Hassan remained unconscious, even having small spasms before regaining consciousness. With the result, Luque returned the defeat he suffered to the North American in the fights on the TUF 21 reality show.
