Former boxer and trainer of athletes of the caliber of Manny Pacquiao, Freddie Roach is one of the most renowned boxing coaches today. However, he did not let his passion for the noble art interfere with his analysis of the struggle between Ronda Rousey and former world boxing champion Holly holm, headlining UFC 193 next weekend.

Roach highlights that Holm actually has good stand-up capabilities, but believes that Rousey will destroy another opponent as soon as the fight goes to the ground. “Holly was a good boxer, she beat good fighters. But in women's boxing there has never been someone the size of Ronda Rousey. Ronda is huge now. The point is that she knows the ground game very well, so I think she will win this fight quite easily. She [Ronda] is not the best boxer in the world, but she is good. When the fight gets going, it will be interesting, but once it goes to the ground, I think Ronda will destroy it”, said Roach, in an interview with “The MMA Hour” podcast.
The fight between the undefeated Ronda Rousey e Holly holm will take place at Etihad Stadium, in Melbourne, Australia. UFC 193 will take place in the early hours of Sunday (15) Brazilian time.
