Last week, Jon Jones was officially reinstated to the UFC and is free to return to fight in the Octagon. And the former champion is highly focused, working hard to regain the organization's light heavyweight belt. This is what Jones' manager, Malki Kawa, guarantees.

In an interview with the podcast “The MMA Hour”, Kawa assured that Jones’ motivation is at an all-time high, like he’s never seen before. “The only word that can describe Jon right now is 'focused.' I've never seen him focused like that. He's super focused, more focused than ever. This is the only time he doesn't have a fight scheduled, but he is in Albuquerque [city in the United States where the gym where he trains, Jackson's MMA is located] training. So, he is working very hard”, commented the businessman.
And Kawa already knows what would be the perfect occasion for the return of Jones, who wants to fight in his city. “In a perfect world, the sport is legal in New York and it makes its return at Madison Square Garden. If that happens, the stars will align. Jones returns and retakes the belt in front of his fans. That would be pretty cool,” Kawa added.
The former champion's last appearance was in January, when he defeated Daniel Cormier in the main fight of UFC 182. After that, Jones would face Anthony Johnson in May, but ended up in a controversial car accident and fled without helping the victim, a pregnant woman. Therefore, the UFC stripped Jones of his belt and suspended him.
