Miocic's injury causes changes to the event in Dublin, which will now feature Madadi x Parke as the co-main fight

The UFC has given up on finding a replacement for Stipe Miocic for the event that will be held in Dublin, Ireland, on October 24th. Thus, Ben Rothwell was removed from the card and will have a new fight announced by the organization in the future.

Miocic announced that he had been injured 11 days before UFC Fight Night 76, and Ultimate initially stated that they would try to find another name to face Rothwell. There was no shortage of candidates for this, such as Matt Mitrione and even the middleweight Derek Brunson, but in the end, no one ended up being cast.

Thus, there was a change in the fight order for the event. The new co-main fight in Dublin will be between Reza Madadi and Norman Parke, winner of TUF Smashes. Brazil's only representative at UFC FN 76, Ericka Almeida, will face local Aisling Daly on the preliminary card.
