After hitting Neil Magny at UFC 190, last Saturday (01), Demian Maia he said he would like to face an athlete positioned above him in the official ranking of the welterweight category and mentioned the American Matt Brown. However, Demian's plans were quickly frustrated and the Ultimate organization confirmed that Brown will face the TUF 17 champion Kelvin Gastelum.

The duel between Gastelum and Brown takes place on the return of the most famous octagon on the planet to Mexico, on November 21st, in the main fight of the The Ultimate Fighter: American Latina 2 Finale, at Arena Monterrey, in Monterrey.

Facing Brown, Gastelum will have the chance to return to the welterweight division. The TUF 17 champion was forced by UFC president Dana White to move up a division in his last fight after having problems with the weight cut in most of his performances.

In addition to the confrontation between Brown and Gastelum, the Ultimate organization announced another fight for the TUF América Latina 2 Finale: the confrontation between the Brazilian Leandro Buscapé and the Mexican based in the United States, Efrain Escudero.
